The Success Secrets: What Does Success Mean to You?

As part of our conversation about success secrets, let me ask you a thought provoking question:

What does Success mean to you?

This is the same question I  ask anyone who engages me on the topic of success.

Why???

Because the word SUCCESS means something different to each of us.

OK…you might be thinking “C’mon! Give us SECRETS!”

or you may be saying out loud

“What’s this got to do with SUCCESS SECRETS?”

Answer:   EVERYTHING

Now I’ll be the first to tell you that not everything I share here is going to seem like a secret to you

but not everyone has the same experiences or same expertise or same mindset or mental attitude as you

So some things you’ve heard before will literally be new, different and I dare say success secrets

to people who haven’t had access to the mind power experts, influencers, and great instructors

you or I have been fortunate enough to learn from.

So, regardless of where you are in life, I encourage & invite you to take this information,

these success secrets

and

look at them with new eyes

and

look at implementing them into your life in new and different ways.

Because it all really starts with

What does Success mean to you?

If you want to get the most value from this blog you might consider

writing down on a piece of paper—your honest, heart felt answers to this question

What does Success mean to you?

Because once you have a clear idea of what it means to you

then you will be able to easily take anything & everything we do together on this blog

and ask yourself how it pertains to those things that

genuinely mean success to you, your life & your loved ones.

When you write down your answer don’t worry about getting everything “right

this is just for your eyes only and it’s simply a quick snapshot of where your mindset is right at this very moment

I’m not going to take what you wrote & have it engraved on the side of the MGM Casino for everyone to see

so take a deep breath, relax & write the first thing that comes to mind when you ask yourself

What does Success mean to me?

Thanks for taking action with this little exercise.

We’re going to let it stew in your brain for a day and then tomorrow

we’ll take a look at another key component of The Success Secrets

but

we’ll be looking at it after having let your brain play all night with the idea of

what success means to you.

Thanks for being so open & willing to join me on this journey!

The Success Secrets…really?

The Success Secrets

I don’t know about you but for me that’s a big bold title carrying the weight of implied promises.

It’s taken me awhile to decide on how to start this blog because my first thought when I see The Success Secrets is to be skeptical because  of past experiences where those 2 words; success and secrets,  have been used, manipulated and casually thrown about like a shiny, glittering object to catch my child-like attention before I feel the stinging bite of the tetanus shot in the arm.   And then I linger on those memories of running away swearing under my breath that I’ll never fall for that trick again.

So…I’m really going to dig into what these two powerful, provocative & probably vastly over-used words

Success Secrets

mean and what I’ve learned about the secrets of success, secrets of the mind, mind power, mindset, whatever you want to call it—positive attitude and everything in between that helps you cut a quicker, clearer path to whatever you wish to achieve in your life.

Now what makes me qualified to tell you ANYTHING about this subject?

Well, let me tell you quickly a little about myself and then you decide for yourself if my experiences & expertise qualify me to open my big mouth (or big keyboard) and share some real world knowledge with you about what I’ve seen work & what hasn’t worked.

And actually it’s probably better if I let you hear how Janet Ackerson of The Wealthy Exit interview series introduced me when she interviewed me recently.

For those of you who wish to keep reading, here’s the brief bio:

Michael escaped a childhood of poverty, drug, sexual & physical abuse–leaving home at age 15

He soon became a top ranked radio personality by the age of 17, moved on to a decorated military career, enjoyed successful stints doing hi-tech projects with Boeing Aerospace and Lockheed-Martin, then changed gears again & worked on Grammy nominated recordings, has written over 25 published magazine articles, been profiled in the Entrepreneur Press book “How To Start Your Own Information Marketing Business” and still manages to do 10 shows a week with the remarkable entertainment company Cirque du Soleil, in Las Vegas.

So, if you think I might have some information & resources to help you move closer to making your dreams come true I invite you to check back often and feel free to leave me comments on what Success Secrets means to you and what areas you’d like me to cover in future postings.

I’ve coached a broad range of people–

from teaching a 35 year old housewife to overcome her fear of driving — she now volunteers at her children’s school 4 days a week!

to a former rocket scientist at NASA who implemented one of my techniques to get more millions in capital venture in one day than he had the previous entire year

I’ve coached 8 year olds on a little league team to have more fun than they ever had playing baseball

to training world class B-1B bomber pilots in the US Air Force

And now I look forward to reaching out and helping more people through this blog

Thanks for coming along for the ride!

I leave you with one of my favorite quotes to ponder:

“You can make yourself happy or miserable – it’s the same amount of effort.”
